This position focuses on the administration of significant automotive contracts. The role ensures that sales orders and records are processed accurately and on time, while also supporting the acquisition and fulfillment of agreements in line with company policies and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensures contracts are acquired and fulfilled according to internal policies and customer specifications.
- Evaluates costing details, performance metrics, and delivery timelines to confirm accuracy and completeness.
- Attends order entry meetings to verify documentation matches contractual terms and may suggest contract modifications to leadership.
- Generates monthly invoices for automotive accounts.
- Creates and updates a Job Summary database for key contracts.
- Supports the corporate accounting team in collecting payments for major contracts.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent experience, providing a working knowledge of purchasing, contracts, and accounting.
- Familiarity with internal business processes and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, complemented by effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a Contract Administrator position is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
