Coordinator of the CAS in Quantum Science at D-PHYS, ETH Zurich

ETH Zurich seeks a Coordinator for the CAS in Quantum Science programme to manage development, administration, and stakeholder engagement in Zürich.

This position acts as the central hub for the CAS in Quantum Science programme, driving its launch, implementation, and daily operations. The coordinator serves as the primary liaison between programme directors, lecturers, participants, the ETH School for Continuing Education, and external partners, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, launch, and ongoing implementation of the CAS in Quantum Science programme.
• Coordinate curriculum design and manage the overall program schedule.
• Manage the selection and admission process for participants.
• Handle administrative duties, including budget oversight and general program management.
• Serve as the main point of contact for participants, lecturers, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop and execute communication and marketing strategies to promote the programme.
• Represent the CAS in outreach activities and maintain relationships with academic and industry partners.
• Facilitate interactions between the programme and the ETH School for Continuing Education.

Requirements

• Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• A university degree with a solid understanding of quantum science.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
• Previous experience in a similar coordination or management role.
• A Master's degree or PhD in quantum science or technology.
• Practical experience or a strong interest in quantum science concepts and implementations.
