The company is seeking a Deep Learning Engineer to develop and optimize real-time algorithms for hearing devices. The role requires a strong background in deep learning, embedded systems, and Python.
This position focuses on adapting and optimizing deep learning models to meet the strict latency, memory, and power constraints of hearing devices. The work directly impacts how individuals hear and interact with their environment.
Responsibilities
- Train advanced deep learning models to ensure quality and efficiency on embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate models into the signal processing chain and assess their effect on device performance.
- Develop code within a collaborative environment that supports CI/CD workflows.
- Contribute to the creation of the DNN training and development software toolchain.
- Evaluate model behavior on-device under various boundary conditions and system implications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of deep learning projects, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in deep learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Fluent in advanced TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch concepts.
- Hands-on experience at the boundary between deep learning and embedded systems.
- Full professional proficiency in English.

- Education in audio or speech processing.
- Understanding of edge computing/low-power computation and embedded systems.
