Delivery Environment Manager

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Delivery Environment Manager in Zürich to oversee global technical environments, ensuring smooth software releases and operational stability through rigorous testing and coordination.

The company is looking for a professional to manage global technical environments, guaranteeing their proper operation, facilitating seamless software deployments, and addressing technical challenges efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Verify that all systems are correctly configured, functional, and synchronized.
• Conduct daily health checks and report status updates to stakeholders.
• Audit ongoing tasks and scripts for errors, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Coordinate release cycles, patch updates, and requests for new or modified environments.
• Ensure data refreshes are performed, configurations are accurate, and teams use correct software versions.
• Collaborate with support, database, development, and testing teams to prevent failures and maintain code deployment integrity.
• Manage release movements and allocate capacity for test environments.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in testing management.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end environments, including UAT and FAT.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Fluent proficiency in German.

Nice to have

• Experience with data anonymization techniques.
• Knowledge of Python, Linux/Unix, HOST, Kubernetes, and Job automation Framework.
