Digital Biomarker Technical Business Analyst (remote)

SimplyVision GmbH seeks a remote Digital Biomarker Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical execution within agile software development.

This position centers on digital biomarkers—health data gathered through devices such as smartphones or wearables. The analyst will operate within intricate data collection and processing environments for related studies, serving as a results-oriented Technical Business Analyst experienced in agile software development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary connection between business stakeholders and end-users, ensuring their feedback shapes product development.
• Keep a thorough grasp of the business landscape and build deep product knowledge to spot optimization chances and track essential metrics.
• Partner with engineering groups to outline system designs, guarantee scalability, and tackle technical hurdles like data integration and performance tuning.
• Lead conversations between technical and non-technical groups to guarantee shared understanding of requirements.
• Assist the Product Manager in managing and prioritizing the product backlog.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, convert user needs into clear product requirements, and align team priorities.
• Background working with engineering teams to design system architectures and resolve technical issues, including scalability and data integration.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (such as Microsoft Azure or AWS), data processing systems, and contemporary software development practices.
• Proficiency in agile frameworks (like Scrum) with an emphasis on team collaboration and ongoing improvement.
• Competence with tools including Jira, Confluence, Gitlab/Github, and monday.com.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of balancing strategic vision with detailed product optimization.
• Entrepreneurial attitude focused on innovation, business value, and thriving in fast-paced settings.
• Active listening, analytical thinking, and mediation skills to bridge differing viewpoints and drive solutions.
