Electronics Engineer Intern

Flyability, a Swiss company based in Paudex, is seeking an Electronics Engineer Intern to join its dynamic team in Lausanne. The intern will contribute to the design and development of electronic circuits for drones and payloads, supporting innovation in robotics for hazardous environments.

This internship is part of a creative and dynamic team in Lausanne, focused on developing drones and payloads. The company’s mission is to deploy robots in dangerous environments to protect human lives. The intern will work on designing and developing electronic circuits for these systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits and systems for drones or payloads
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
• Work with mechanical engineers to integrate electronic components into mechanical designs
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot electronic prototypes
• Analyze performance data and help improve circuit designs

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Electronics Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Skilled in electronic design software and other engineering tools
• Solid grasp of electronics engineering fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for technical challenges
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and fast-paced product development
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French
