The Environment Project Manager at Richemont supports the development and implementation of the Group's environmental framework, reporting to the Sustainability Transformation Manager in Bellevue, CH.

This position plays a key part in advancing Richemont's environmental agenda by supporting the creation, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the Group's sustainability framework. The role ensures that environmental initiatives align with the company's broader sustainability goals and reports directly to the Sustainability Transformation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Help create and roll out Group policies and guidelines for key environmental issues, evaluate their impact, and spot opportunities for updates.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to coordinate environmental projects and actions with various Maisons, Regions, and internal functions.
  • Assist in building and executing a unified Group environmental framework that addresses climate change, circular economy, biodiversity, and water stewardship.
  • Convert broad environmental goals into actionable roadmaps and steps for the Group and its Maisons to ensure practical results.
  • Help establish processes to identify and evaluate environmental risks, regulatory shifts, and new opportunities throughout the value chain.
  • Contribute to setting environmental targets and tracking progress, with an emphasis on integrating digital tools.
  • Analyze environmental performance data to guide framework updates, support reporting (such as GRI and TCFD), and find improvement areas.
  • Work closely with sustainability teams, operational departments, and central functions to integrate environmental factors into business processes and product lifecycles.
  • Create presentations and reports for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to share strategy, progress, and recommendations.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and skill development across the Group on environmental topics to build a community of practice.
  • Monitor global environmental trends, scientific advances, industry best practices, and technological innovations to inform future programs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental management, sustainability strategy, or a similar role, ideally within a large international organization or consulting firm.
  • Experience with environmental reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD) and target-setting methodologies (e.g., SBTi).
  • Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in French.
  • Knowledge or understanding of the luxury sector.
