Event Specialist & Marketing Assistant

AMAC Aerospace seeks a Mid-level Event Specialist & Marketing Assistant in Basel for a hybrid role. The position combines event coordination with marketing support in a dynamic, owner-managed aerospace environment.

This multifaceted role sits within a niche industry, offering a challenging and responsible position for a professional who thrives in a young, dynamic, and hands-on company culture. The incumbent will serve as the central point for event execution and marketing coordination, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute trade fairs and corporate events, including the annual Christmas Party.
• Manage event budgets by collecting cost data and negotiating with suppliers.
• Coordinate event materials, digital assets, decorations, and technology.
• Liaise with internal sales teams, external agencies, and exhibition stand builders.
• Manage travel logistics and communications for colleagues attending corporate jets and events.
• Provide constructive feedback to stand builders to improve future setups.
• Optimize planning and organizational workflows continuously.
• Prepare regular activity reports for the Marketing Manager.
• Collaborate on writing copy and designing presentations and other marketing collateral.

Requirements

• Completed education or studies in marketing and event management.
• At least 5 years of experience in generalist marketing assistance and organizing events ranging from simple to complex.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English, including written communication.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
