Facility Manager 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

ABB Power Grids seeks a Senior Facility Manager (80-100%) in Baden, CH. The role oversees maintenance, space planning, and supplier coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities.

The company is looking for a senior professional to manage all maintenance operations and optimize workspace usage across departments. This position ensures that facilities operate safely and efficiently while aligning with organizational goals and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance planning and execution within budget limits, managing supplier SLAs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to set technical specs and request proposals.
• Conduct regular inspections and cleaning rounds to maintain safety and compliance, working with HSE on safety protocols.
• Monitor maintenance costs, benchmark expenses, and request multiple bids to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Build strong relationships with FM providers (cleaning, security, maintenance) to guarantee service quality.
• Analyze space needs for each business unit and department.
• Create and update guidelines for reception, mail services, and housekeeping.
• Track invoices and running costs to maintain financial transparency and implement efficiency-focused cost reduction strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facility management, maintenance planning, or a related field.
• Several years of experience leading teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and floor plans.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Fluency in both English and German is required.
