Alfa Laval Mid Europe AG seeks a Field Service Engineer for Central & Eastern Europe to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial equipment at customer sites, ensuring high satisfaction and reliable performance.
This position focuses on providing direct technical support to clients by handling the installation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial machinery. The engineer works on-site to resolve technical issues, train customer staff, and collaborate with internal teams to guarantee equipment reliability and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial equipment at client facilities
- Diagnose technical faults and implement effective on-site solutions
- Provide technical assistance and execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on equipment usage
- Coordinate with internal service, engineering, and sales departments
- Create and manage service documentation and reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
- Capacity to work independently in a field-based environment
- Possession of a valid driving license
