Awin AG seeks a Finance Analytics Team Leader to drive financial reporting, KPIs, and business planning. This hybrid role in Switzerland requires strong SQL/Tableau skills and squad leadership experience.

This position operates at the crossroads of finance, data, and commercial strategy, playing a key role in defining the company’s financial trajectory. The incumbent serves as the Product Owner for the organization’s financial reporting, KPI tracking, and business planning tools, ensuring these systems effectively support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end financial reporting and forecasting suite, covering sales, revenue, customer lifecycle, operational expenses, personnel costs, and key performance indicators.
  • Partner with the Global Head of Financial Analytics to shape the strategic vision, roadmap, and innovation efforts.
  • Break down the strategic roadmap into actionable phases, including discovery, design, implementation, and validation.
  • Establish the business logic and semantic layers that underpin financial and business analytics.
  • Act as the primary liaison for business stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
  • Mentor two direct reports and one dotted-line team member, focusing on their technical development.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering squads to ingest and model the necessary data for analytics.
  • Oversee the squad backlog by refining requirements, prioritizing user stories, and maintaining alignment with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in financial or business analytics, including roles in product ownership or squad leadership, alongside a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau is mandatory.
  • Fluent command of the English language.

Nice to have

  • Professional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CFA, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms like Pigment or Anaplan.
  • Proficiency in an additional European language.
