ABB seeks a Finance Analyst in Baden, CH, to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making through data analysis and business partnering.
This position delivers financial expertise to a specific organizational unit. The analyst examines performance metrics, spots trends or issues, and suggests steps to boost financial results. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Compare actual business performance against budgets and forecasts, then suggest corrective measures.
- Benchmark key performance indicators against industry peers and internal ABB units.
- Build financial models to test different scenarios and assess their impact on the business unit.
- Assist with financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- At least three years of experience in a controlling role within a multinational company.
- Strong skills in SAP (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP), BW/BI, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI, and Office 365.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities.
- Proven track record of partnering with local management teams to provide financial insights and decision support.
