FP&A Graduate (Remote - Work from Anywhere)

Xapo seeks a remote FP&A Graduate to support financial planning and analysis. This contract role offers full flexibility and professional development opportunities for recent graduates.

The Finance team at Xapo is expanding and invites a new graduate to join their ranks. In this position, you will work directly with financial planning, forecasting, and analysis tasks. Your contributions will play a direct part in helping the organization make strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create and share routine financial reports, including summaries of performance and variance analysis.
• Examine financial data and key performance indicators to spot early trends and offer supporting insights.
• Help build monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets.
• Assist in creating and maintaining financial models and forecasting tools.
• Work with other departments to collect necessary financial data.
• Help prepare presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
• Support the creation of business cases for new initiatives and investments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Contribute to improving FP&A processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with basic financial reporting and accounting concepts gained through academic studies.
• A dedicated workspace.
• A reliable internet connection with the fastest speed possible in your area.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Relevant internships or academic projects.
• Familiarity with data software (e.g., Looker, PowerBI) gained through academic projects.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages learned through coursework.
• Genuine interest in fintech and the crypto space.
