Fullstack Software Engineer

Nozominetworks seeks a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer in Switzerland to design and develop cybersecurity solutions for OT and IoT infrastructures in a hybrid agile environment.

This position focuses on building and maintaining secure solutions for operational technology and Internet of Things environments. The engineer will help defend critical infrastructure and large organizations globally by creating robust features and reducing technical debt within a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the architecture and creation of software solutions.
• Utilize existing tools and explore new technologies to build features.
• Develop medium to large-scale functionalities while actively decreasing technical debt.
• Assist teammates to ensure collective team achievements.
• Promote agile practices and clarify process advantages and trade-offs for the group.

• Manage user-facing features from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Ruby, Golang, C++, or Python.
• Hands-on background in automated testing approaches like TDD or BDD.
• Practical application of Agile methodologies in previous roles.
• Comfort working within strict confidentiality and data privacy guidelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Javascript, Typescript, and React is considered a strong asset.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases is advantageous.
• Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP is beneficial.
