UBP offers a 12-month graduate programme in its Operations office team in Geneva. Participants rotate through departments to gain practical experience in operations, risk, and project coordination.

The COO Division oversees the Bank's complete operations, serving both internal and external clients with high-quality service. This graduate programme allows participants to understand the Operations department's structure, learn key processes, and contribute to project coordination and reporting within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how the Operations department functions and how its various teams interact.
  • Study current Operations workflows and suggest improvements when possible.
  • Assist with coordinating cross-functional topics and projects inside the Operations department.
  • Prepare reports and gather necessary data from other teams for regular reporting cycles.
  • Gain knowledge of Reconciliation activities and assist with related investigations.
  • Ensure team processes align with internal procedures and policies.
  • Explore cash and securities services, including transfers, treasury operations, and settlement activities.
  • Learn about operational risk through incident management and RCSA frameworks.
  • Provide support for various risk-related processes.

Requirements

  • Recently completed Master's degree in Finance or Information Technology from a well-known university.
  • No more than 12 months of professional work experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in both French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; programming knowledge is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Valid Swiss residence permit.

Nice to have

  • Programming skills.
  • Proficiency in languages other than French and English.
