Junior Business Analyst – Private Markets Platform

LGT Capital Partners AG seeks a Junior Business Analyst for its Private Markets Platform team in Pfäffikon. The role focuses on process re-engineering, requirement analysis, and bridging business and IT functions within an international investment management environment.

This position sits within the Private Markets Platform team, which is responsible for driving large-scale transformations and designing scalable solutions that shape how the firm operates. The role exists to improve end-to-end processes and ensure that business and technology teams work together effectively to deliver future-ready outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design, re-engineer, and document core business processes.
• Perform detailed requirement analysis and conduct gap assessments across various operational topics.
• Develop test cases and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Assist with project management duties, including organizing workshops, tracking IT delivery, preparing status reports, and planning resources.
• Define and present conceptual approaches, target operating models, and solution options, while documenting key decisions.
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT counterparts to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Train business users on new tools, drive adoption, and support the broader change management process.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent experience in Business Economics, Business Informatics, or Information Technology.
• Initial professional experience in business analysis, preferably within a financial services firm or a leading consulting agency, focusing on the interface between business and IT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to quickly grasp business functions, technical concepts, and process information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in the German language.
