This position is designed for engineers ready to tackle complex technical challenges and take ownership of critical projects. The primary objective is to bridge the gap between research and development and full-scale production, ensuring that prototype devices are transformed into reliable, compliant, and scalable medical products.
Responsibilities
- Drive design for manufacturing (DFM) initiatives to transform prototype concepts into viable products.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define and implement production workflows.
- Refine device designs, components, and assemblies to support scalable manufacturing.
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and assembly procedures.
- Manage the transfer of designs from R&D teams to manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing engineering or product industrialization, ideally within the medical device sector.
- Fluent English proficiency (C1 level).
- Proven expertise in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design transfer to production.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes for precision medical devices, including injection molding, precision machining, micro-assembly, and device assembly.
- Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and regulated medical device production environments.
- Understanding of medical device manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in endoscopy or similar MedTech companies is highly valued.
