The position centers on converting prototype designs into reliable, manufacturable medical devices while ensuring regulatory compliance. Engineers in this role will take ownership of challenging technical problems and drive the company's technology from prototype stages into full production.
Responsibilities
- Direct design for manufacturing (DFM) efforts to transform prototype concepts into production-ready products
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define and implement production workflows
- Refine device designs, components, and assemblies to support scalable manufacturing
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and assembly steps
- Manage the transfer of designs from research and development teams to manufacturing operations
Requirements
- Minimum four years of experience in manufacturing engineering or product industrialization, ideally within the medical device sector
- Fluent English proficiency at C1 level
- Proven expertise in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design transfer to production environments
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing techniques for precision medical devices, such as injection molding, precision machining, micro-assembly, and device assembly
- Background in collaborating with contract manufacturers and external suppliers
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and regulated medical device production settings
- Understanding of medical device manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements

- Prior experience in endoscopy or similar MedTech companies is highly valued
