Solvias seeks a mid-level Laboratory Technician to perform release and stability testing of biologics using capillary electrophoresis within a GMP environment.
This position operates within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) framework, focusing on the analytical testing of antibodies, proteins, and peptides. The role requires a collaborative approach to ensure high-quality results in a quality-driven laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Execute release and stability assays for biologics using capillary electrophoresis methods such as CE-SDS, cIEF, and CZE.
- Validate analytical methods to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Record all experimental data precisely in LIMS, Chromeleon, and via paper logs.
- Prepare necessary analytical buffers and assist in setting up new methods.
- Support the deployment of new CE-SDS and cIEF protocols.
- Develop documentation templates to standardize reporting.
- Serve as the primary owner for instruments, managing maintenance and operational readiness.
- Archive raw data in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with scientists, reviewers, and other laboratory staff.
Requirements
- Formal laboratory training combined with hands-on experience in Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) or HPLC.
- Professional fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working in GMP-compliant laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with LIMS and Chromeleon software platforms.
- Ability to communicate in German, French, or Spanish.
