Logistics Manager (f/m/d)

Hexagon Robotics seeks a Logistics Manager in Zürich to build its supply chain function from scratch during its transition to commercial deliveries across Europe.

This mid-level position offers significant autonomy to design and operate the company’s logistics infrastructure. The successful candidate will establish processes and compliance frameworks as the firm prepares for its first commercial shipments of humanoid robots throughout Europe.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain import/export compliance protocols, including handling customs declarations and Carnet ATA documentation.
• Oversee the transport of dangerous goods in strict adherence to IATA and ADR regulations, ensuring team compliance.
• Create and refine logistics workflows, documentation standards, and compliance checklists.
• Supervise one to two Logistics Coordinators who handle day-to-day physical operations.
• Source, assess, and manage relationships with carrier and freight partners.
• Coordinate intricate, cross-border shipments as delivery volumes expand across the European market.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to align logistics activities with ERP systems.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, with a focus on international shipping.
• Strong practical knowledge of import/export paperwork, dangerous goods rules (IATA/ADR), and customs procedures, including Carnet ATA.
• Proven ability to manage or coordinate a small team.
• Fluency in both English and German.

Nice to have

• Prior experience using ERP or logistics management software.
• Background in logistics for robotics, industrial hardware, or precision equipment.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act or CE marking relevant to hardware deployment.
• Proficiency in additional European languages.
