Eraneos Switzerland seeks an M&A Manager in Zürich to lead acquisition initiatives, supporting the firm's growth as an AI-first consultancy through strategic deals and financial analysis.

This position sits within the Corporate M&A team and plays a pivotal role in the company's expansion strategy. The primary objective is to help establish Eraneos as a leading AI-focused consultancy in Europe by managing the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of M&A, executive leadership, business units, and private equity partners to steer M&A projects.
• Manage the end-to-end acquisition process, including finding targets, performing due diligence, negotiating terms, and finalizing deals.
• Oversee the transition of completed transactions to the Post-Merger Integration (PMI) team to ensure a seamless handover.
• Liaise with internal teams and external advisors, such as legal counsel, investment banks, and transaction specialists.
• Develop financial models, valuation reports, and deal analyses to support decision-making for the Board and Executive Management.
• Perform detailed market research, company assessments, and competitive landscape reviews.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Four to six years of professional experience in corporate M&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial analysis.
• Strong conceptual thinking abilities, with the skill to simplify complex topics into clear key messages and create impactful PowerPoint presentations.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German is considered an advantage.
• Prior experience within the Professional Services sector, such as consulting, IT services, or business services.
