Manager Customer Engineering

Evatec seeks a Manager Customer Engineering to lead a global team, ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction through data-driven improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Evatec designs and manufactures high-tech thin film deposition equipment for the semiconductor and optoelectronics sectors. This position leads the Customer Engineering team within a multinational structure spanning 15 countries, focusing on quality assurance, process optimization, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Guide, motivate, and support the Customer Engineering staff while promoting an environment built on trust, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth.
• Oversee the non-conformance workflow to guarantee the reliability and quality standards of all products.
• Track key performance indicators to spot areas for improvement and drive initiatives based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Assembly, and Standardization departments to meet targets regarding cost, delivery, and quality.
• Address customer concerns, handle escalations, and implement lasting solutions that preserve client confidence.

Requirements

• Possess a university degree in engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Demonstrate a track record of leading teams, mentoring employees, and acting as a supportive coach.
• Show understanding of business processes along with experience in project management and continuous improvement settings.
• Be fluent in both English and German.
