Scott Sports seeks a Manager for Group Consolidation, Reporting & Accounting in Givisiez, CH. The role leads financial consolidation, IFRS reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination for the global group.

The company is looking for an experienced finance professional to oversee the end-to-end consolidation process for the Scott Group. This position serves as the central authority for technical accounting matters, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and seamless collaboration with external auditors and internal stakeholders across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and notes in compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Execute consolidation adjustments, including intercompany eliminations, inventory profit removal, equity adjustments, and foreign currency translations.
  • Review and validate reporting packages submitted by subsidiary entities.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions to ensure accuracy across the group.
  • Maintain, update, and improve group-wide accounting policies and reporting guidelines.
  • Monitor changes in IFRS standards and assess their financial impact on the organization.
  • Support the rollout of new accounting standards and reporting mandates.
  • Optimize consolidation and reporting systems, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and associated tools.
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual consolidated budget and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Aggregate budget submissions from subsidiaries and perform variance analysis against actuals.
  • Partner with the controlling department to deliver financial insights and business performance analysis.
  • Assist in the creation of management reports.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits.
  • Manage audit requests and ensure timely submission of supporting documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS, local statutory rules, and internal accounting policies.
  • Support SOX or equivalent compliance programs where relevant.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and finance governance efforts.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, controllers, and accounting managers globally.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to subsidiary finance teams.
  • Train finance staff on reporting requirements and recent accounting developments.
  • Promote standardization and best practices across Group Finance.
  • Lead and mentor members of the consolidation and reporting team.
  • Serve as the group accounting referent for technical accounting queries.
  • Guide local teams on IFRS application and group policy adherence.
  • Drive consistency in accounting practices and reporting across all entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 8–10 years of experience in consolidation, financial reporting, audit, or group finance.
  • Proven track record in IFRS reporting within international, multicultural, and multi-entity environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation principles.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and disclosure requirements.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, or similar consolidation tools.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Nice to have

  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ExpertSuisse, CA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a Big Four audit firm.
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools.
