Mikron SA Agno seeks a Mechanical Debug Engineer to assemble, test, and commission complex automation systems, requiring strong mechanical skills and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.

This position plays a central role in the machine-building lifecycle, transforming complex automation systems into operational reality. The engineer contributes directly from initial assembly through to final customer installation, ensuring technical excellence at every stage.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and troubleshoot machine stations in line with specific project specifications.
  • Conduct preliminary alignment of stations under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Operate machinery during the debugging phase while supervised by the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Deliver technical training to clients covering mechanical hardware, pneumatic systems, setup procedures, alignment, changeovers, and maintenance protocols.
  • Assist with on-site installation and commissioning activities at customer locations.
  • Create and manage necessary manufacturing documentation for project deliverables.
  • Partner with Project Engineers to resolve technical challenges and optimize workflows.

Requirements

  • Hold a diploma or ITE qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
  • Possess at least two years of professional experience within automation or machine-building sectors.
  • Demonstrate excellent command of both English and Mandarin.
  • Exhibit robust skills in mechanical troubleshooting and assembly techniques.
  • Be capable of following instructions, prioritizing workload, and functioning effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Show strong communication abilities suitable for conducting technical training sessions.
  • Maintain an organized and proactive approach, thriving in fast-paced project environments.
  • Display a problem-solving mindset, cooperative attitude, and eagerness to learn.
  • Be available for travel and off-shift work as required by project needs.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience using SolidWorks or Inventor software is considered an advantage.
