The company is looking for a professional to lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical components for energy-related initiatives. Responsibilities
- Manage and carry out mechanical design tasks specifically for traction transformer equipment.
- Create and examine technical specifications, engineering drawings, 3D models, and other documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
- Work closely with electrical engineers, manufacturing teams, supply chain partners, and project managers to facilitate smooth project execution and integration.
- Take part in design reviews, risk assessments, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) sessions.
- Choose suitable materials, manufacturing methods, and components to balance performance with cost efficiency.
- Offer technical assistance during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and field operations.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an Engineering School in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Possess at least five years of professional experience in mechanical design and engineering within the power products sector.
- Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software such as Creo or Catia, as well as Product Life Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Exhibit a strong grasp of core mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, stress analysis, and materials science.
