Microcaps AG seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Worben to maintain and develop encapsulation systems, design components, and support factory scaling in an onsite, full-time role.
The company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its team and contribute to cutting-edge process technology. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing encapsulation process systems, helping the organization scale beyond current capacity. You will also assist in engineering world-class operations and participate in the design and construction of future factory facilities.
Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled maintenance activities on encapsulation production lines
- Draft and update procedures for maintenance tasks
- Analyze mechanical failures and resolve unexpected maintenance issues
- Design parts and sub-assemblies to improve equipment efficiency
- Research the feasibility of proposed process changes
- Contribute to initiatives that reduce the environmental impact of operations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- At least two years of experience in an industrial environment
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D-CAD tools
- Experience in creating technical documentation
- Practical background in machinery assembly, commissioning, and maintenance
- Project management skills
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Valid work permit for Switzerland
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external experts
- Solid understanding of ERP software systems
