Mechanical Engineer

GRZ Technologies seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Avenches to design hydrogen energy systems, manage quality documentation, and coordinate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and construction of specific systems and components using SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Conduct engineering calculations, such as sizing pressure vessels.
• Manage goods reception and work preparation (AVOR), including ERP data management, bill of materials, and work instruction preparation.
• Oversee quality documentation for complete systems, including pressure vessels.
• Coordinate with third-party notified bodies for design examinations and reception of pressurized vessels.
• Handle contact, coordination, and negotiation with suppliers.

Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc/MSc) or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in pressure vessels, hydrogen systems, or a related field.
• Experience with quality and certification processes, particularly those linked to pressure vessels.
• Familiarity with ERP and quality insurance systems.
• Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage.
