GRZ Technologies seeks a Process Engineer for its Avenches site. The role combines project leadership with technical design duties in a dynamic, international environment.
This position provides a varied workload with significant personal accountability. The successful candidate will lead specific work packages within process engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead selected work packages as a project leader in process engineering.
- Design and specify components such as valves, pumps, pipes, and safety features, including supplier validation.
- Create P&ID diagrams, process specifications, and technical descriptions.
- Participate in HAZOP studies to assess risks.
- Collaborate with electrical, design, and thermal engineering departments for complex system development.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with hydrogen systems, natural gas plants, or similar fields.
- Familiarity with ATEX guidelines and PED directives.
- Knowledge of German and/or French.
