Medical Affairs Manager - Switzerland

OM Pharma seeks a Medical Affairs Manager in Villars-sur-Glâne to lead scientific engagement in respiratory and uro-gynecology, support clinical studies, and drive product strategy across Switzerland.

The company is looking for a professional to manage scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers in respiratory and uro-gynecology fields. This position focuses on delivering accurate medical information, supporting clinical research, and aligning medical insights with commercial strategies to advance product development and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture connections with key opinion leaders, specialists, and general practitioners specializing in respiratory and uro-gynecology.
• Deliver precise product details and scientific documentation, while addressing medico-scientific questions from external and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and participate in advisory boards, symposia, seminars, and comparable scientific gatherings.
• Oversee clinical study follow-up and monitoring, and compile literature research findings into databases.
• Share scientific insights gathered from field interactions with local medical and commercial teams to integrate real-world expertise.
• Provide scientific backing to Marketing and Sales divisions, including training and validating promotional content while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the Lysates Team on strategy formulation and execute product strategy implementation.
• Assist in pharmacovigilance activities by handling the transmission and processing of Adverse Drug Reactions.
• Offer support to the Regulatory and Market Access team when needed.

Requirements

• Hold a scientific or medical degree such as a Master’s, PhD, or M.D., or an equivalent qualification.
• Possess a minimum of three years of experience in Medical Affairs or as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze clinical studies and scientific data, and deliver scientific presentations and medical training to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the Swiss medical landscape, including legal, regulatory, and health system aspects.
• Achieve business fluency in German, French, and English.
• Be prepared to travel primarily within Switzerland, with occasional international trips.
