MSAT Environmental Monitoring Expert (6998)

The company seeks a Mid-level MSAT Environmental Monitoring Expert in Visp, CH, for a hybrid contract role. The position focuses on leading PQ projects, acting as a subject matter expert for discrepancies, and supporting regulatory inspections.

The company is looking for a specialist to lead Environmental Monitoring Performance Qualification projects from initial planning through to execution. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert for handling discrepancy records and managing change requests within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct Environmental Monitoring Performance Qualification initiatives from the planning phase through to completion, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Quality, Operations, and Engineering to synchronize project goals and schedules.
• Manage validation activities, including drafting protocols, analyzing results, preparing reports, and conducting studies.
• Head technical investigations and root-cause analyses for deviations, suggesting corrective measures and representing Process Validation during cross-functional risk assessments.
• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for discrepancy records and change requests.
• Assist with regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and provide accurate budget evaluations.

Requirements

• Valid working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management, ideally within MSAT, Quality, or Compliance.
• Practical experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of biotechnological/chemical manufacturing processes, validation approaches, and risk management.
• Proven ability to write validation protocols, reports, and technical investigations.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with regulatory agencies (e.g., Swissmedic, FDA) and customer audits.
