Network IT Support

Kandou seeks a Mid-level Network IT Support specialist to maintain and optimize datacenter and office networks, supporting its AI infrastructure initiatives in Saint-Sulpice, CH.

This position is critical for ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company's IT environment, which underpins a high-performance, chiplet-based AI memory fabric. The role focuses on maintaining reliable network operations while supporting the company's mission to democratize AI and reduce hardware costs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, deployment, daily operation, and upkeep of both datacenter and office network systems.
• Enhance the reliability and performance of all network segments, including datacenters, office LANs, laboratory setups, and site-to-site VPN connections.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for user support tickets, prioritizing issues that impact production environments.
• Keep network documentation current and accurate.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in enterprise and datacenter networking.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing corporate IT network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of switching and routing solutions from major equipment vendors.
• Practical knowledge of physical connectivity, including fiber optics and transceivers.
• Experience with VPN technologies and Linux-based networking.
• Competent skills in network monitoring and debugging.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a supportive attitude towards colleagues.
• Possession of CH/EU nationality or a valid Swiss work permit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in IT.

Nice to have

• Background in networking for cloud or virtualization environments.
• Familiarity with Fortinet Gateways.
