P&T Application Support Specialist

Arcondis AG seeks a Mid-level P&T Application Support Specialist to provide L2 support for life sciences platforms, including RIMS, within a global healthcare consulting firm.

This position sits within the Managed Services team, where the primary objective is to deliver technical support for specialized life sciences platforms. The role ensures the stability and compliance of critical systems in a global healthcare consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 application support for life sciences platforms, with a specific focus on Regulatory Information Management Systems (RIMS).
• Resolve escalated tickets from Level 1 support, addressing complex technical challenges.
• Investigate application issues concerning configuration, integrations, data integrity, security protocols, and user access rights.
• Execute minor configuration adjustments, data corrections, and operational tasks while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and change management guidelines.
• Assist with release activities, including regression testing, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring.
• Manage Incidents, Service Requests, Changes, and Problem Tickets in accordance with ITIL frameworks.
• Support Change and Configuration Management, System Administration, and Validation tasks, ensuring compliance with CSV procedures and GxP-regulated standards.
• Maintain application documentation, monitor license usage, and manage access controls.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements within the support scope.

Requirements

• A university degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Practical experience using ServiceNow or comparable IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including user lifecycle management, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Strong general IT background, covering cloud and on-premises solutions, Azure, networking, MSSQL/SQL databases, and security configurations.
