SonarSource seeks a Partner Business Manager for Eastern Europe based in Geneva. The role focuses on building and expanding relationships with channel partners to drive revenue and market growth, reporting to the VP of EMEA & APJ Channels.
The Partner Business Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with assigned channel partners. They are tasked with achieving sales and profitability targets, supporting partner recruitment, and ensuring alignment with Sonar’s product and service offerings. The role is central to expanding Sonar’s partner ecosystem in the Eastern European region.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and develop new partners whose business models and technologies align with Sonar’s offerings.
- Create and execute regional partner territory plans to meet targets for new bookings, renewals, and new customer acquisitions.
- Build strong, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts and territories.
- Coordinate internal resources such as support, sales, marketing, and management to support partner success.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews to help partners meet sales and strategic goals.
- Drive joint planning with partners to set mutual performance goals, financial targets, and key milestones.
- Continuously evaluate and clarify partner needs to ensure ongoing alignment.
- Manage partner relationships in accordance with Sonar’s channel policies to avoid conflicts.
- Ensure partners complete required enablement programs and maintain alignment with Sonar’s business and technology evolution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in channel and partner management within technology software B2B, preferably in SaaS or subscription models; Dev Tools experience is beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing partner relationships in the EMEA region.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take on challenging tasks.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and uphold company values and culture.
- Curious, adaptable, and confident communicator.
- Must have established relationships and experience with key VARs including Softcat, Bytes, Computercentre, and Insight.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Crayon, SoftwareOne, or bespoke DevOps VARs.
