Platform Engineer / Devops Engineer [Geneva / Zurich / Lausanne]

Taurus SA seeks a Mid-level Platform Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure for its digital asset platform in Geneva, Zurich, or Lausanne.

This position sits within the Platform & Services department, supporting a dynamic financial technology sector. The engineer is responsible for constructing and managing the underlying infrastructure that drives the company's digital asset platform, overseeing the entire lifecycle of development, testing, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and operational efficiency for production systems.
• Provide comprehensive support across development, testing, and production stages, ensuring robust monitoring, alerting, resilience, and on-call coverage.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud services, networking, and storage, with a focus on cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of practical experience in service operations, preferably in high-demand settings.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts, including automation, monitoring, and incident handling.
• Practical knowledge of modern DevOps tools such as Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Shell.
• Familiarity with build pipelines, testing workflows, release management, and product lifecycle processes.
• Capability to deploy solutions and integrate them into existing production landscapes.
• Basic experience with SQL database manipulation and software development in languages like Go, Java, or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to multiple items from the DevOps toolchain (Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, YAML, Shell).
• A proactive attitude toward expanding expertise in SRE methodologies.
