Portfolio Manager

BNP Paribas (Suisse) seeks a Senior Portfolio Manager in Geneva to lead client-facing investment strategies across multiple asset classes and currencies.

This senior position operates within a broader international network spanning Luxembourg, Germany, and Portugal. The role involves managing investment solutions in EUR, USD, and CHF while covering all primary asset classes. The incumbent serves as the direct point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment with their specific financial goals and risk profiles.

Responsibilities

• Track financial market trends and participate in tactical asset allocation decisions.
• Act as a voting member of committees responsible for selecting instruments across Equity, Fixed Income, or Funds/ETFs.
• Analyze, select, and construct model portfolios, while monitoring the performance of chosen investments.
• Independently manage bespoke mandates, strictly adhering to individual client risk tolerances and constraints.
• Collaborate closely with the implementation team to ensure operational accuracy and timely execution.
• Strictly follow the Bank’s internal investment guidelines and applicable financial regulations.
• Create clear, precise, and educational reports for client review.
• Attend regular client meetings to discuss portfolio performance and provide detailed explanations.
• Develop customized investment proposals tailored to existing clients or prospective accounts.
• Support the preparation of responses for complex or semi-institutional requests for proposals.

Requirements

• At least ten years of professional experience in wealth management or asset management.
• A minimum of eight years managing multi-asset strategies or single-asset class solutions.
• Fluent verbal and written communication abilities in both French and English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in additional languages beyond French and English.
