Principal Presales Consultant – Digital, Data, Analytics & AI

Mendix (by Siemens) seeks a Principal Presales Consultant in Zürich to lead customer discovery for AI and data ecosystems, position the Knowledge Graph platform for enterprise AI, and advise stakeholders on data-to-AI strategy. The role requires presales or technical consulting experience with modern data and AI platforms.

This role focuses on uncovering strategic opportunities within customer AI and data environments, evaluating their AI/ML maturity, and positioning Siemens’ Knowledge Graph platform as the core for enterprise-grade Agentic and Generative AI. The consultant will guide C-suite and technical leaders on data-to-AI roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery of customer AI and data ecosystems, assess their AI/ML maturity, and identify strategic opportunities.
• Position Siemens’ Knowledge Graph platform as the foundation for enterprise-level Agentic and Generative AI solutions.
• Demonstrate how Graph Studio and Graph Lakehouse improve LLM accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and support intelligent automation.
• Integrate Mendix applications with data and AI foundations to deliver fast, impactful solutions.
• Advise C-suite and technical stakeholders on data-to-AI strategy and implementation roadmaps.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
• Solid understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML pipelines.
• Ability to influence executives and guide enterprise-scale AI adoption.
• Comfortable working across cloud, data, AI, and application architectures.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, graph databases, or data fabrics.
• Exposure to RAG, Agentic AI, or enterprise Generative AI deployments.
