The Procurement Manager will join Oscilloquartz’s team in Saint-Blaise to support the industrialization and production of atomic clock products. The company is growing and innovation-driven, aiming to build a future together with its employees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost reduction efforts, price and contract negotiations, and component/supplier selection in collaboration with Global Component Engineering and R&D sites.
  • Develop commodity strategies, identify preferred and strategic suppliers, and define supplier strategies.
  • Negotiate Volume Purchase Agreements (VPAs), long-term Price Books, and step pricing structures.
  • Negotiate optimal logistics terms (lead time, VMI, buffer stocks) and quality conditions aligned with ADVA and contract manufacturers’ requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at suppliers.
  • Monitor market, product, technology, and supplier trends to stay ahead of changes.
  • Implement an early warning system for potential material shortages, lead time increases, or allocation issues.
  • Collaborate closely with global R&D sites.
  • Participate early in product development projects to ensure cost-effective, high-performance components are selected and available for pre-release and series production.
  • Drive rationalization of components and suppliers.
  • Support Product Line Management in cost reduction initiatives, including design-to-cost, manufacturability, testing, innovation, and material cost savings.
  • Manage escalations related to material shortages or allocation issues.
  • Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration, with strong technical knowledge.
  • Experience in the Telecom/Networking industry or electronics sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the IC industry, including FPGAs, ASSPs, CPLDs, and similar components.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Business-fluent English.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented, able to work under pressure, reliable, and mobile.
