Product Manager

Diamond SA seeks a Mid-level Product Manager in Losone, CH, to manage the product lifecycle and coordinate international trade shows. The role requires technical education and fluency in German and English.

The company is looking for a professional to oversee the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch, within an international context. This position acts as a central link between customers, market demands, and internal departments, ensuring that product strategies align with business goals and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate national and international trade shows, primarily across Europe.
• Manage all logistical aspects of events, including scheduling, booth setup, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with the German subsidiary and internal teams such as sales and technical departments for event execution.
• Provide on-site support at key events, handling organizational tasks and engaging directly with customers.
• Drive the strategic development and management of the current product portfolio.
• Conduct product and market analyses to generate actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate product development initiatives with R&D, production, and marketing teams.
• Evaluate new product concepts and customer needs from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Work closely with sales and marketing to position and launch technical products effectively.
• Create technical documentation, product materials, and resources to support sales efforts.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Participate in customer visits and deliver product training sessions locally and abroad.

Requirements

• A technical degree (e.g., mechanical or electrical engineering) combined with training in product management, business administration, or marketing.
• Fluent command of both German and English, written and spoken.
• Several years of professional experience in a technical role, preferably in product or project management.
• Strong analytical skills, a structured work style, and a high degree of personal accountability.
• A genuine interest in emerging technologies and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
• Excellent teamwork abilities and a passion for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP systems.
