Program Manager Surface Sensor Solutions (LSI)

Saab Bofors Dynamics Switzerland Ltd seeks a Program Manager for Surface Sensor Solutions to oversee contract execution, ensuring profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction in an on-site role.

The Program Management office at Saab is tasked with the successful execution of awarded contracts and studies. The primary objective is to maintain strong profitability, positive cash flow, precise delivery schedules, high quality standards, and sustained customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role serves as the central point of contact for customers, managing contract fulfillment and negotiations while driving internal efficiency and commitment to meet commercial goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of executed contracts and associated studies.
• Oversee all project management duties, including definition, bid preparation, and execution phases.
• Act as the primary liaison for customers, handling contract fulfillment and negotiations.
• Monitor and ensure short- and long-term project profitability and goal achievement.
• Drive continuous organizational improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster internal commitment and alignment to meet customer expectations and secure commercial success.
• Maintain focus on cash flow, delivery precision, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A technical background combined with leadership experience, emphasizing business acumen and customer insight.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Ability to pass a security vetting process in accordance with current security protection regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial aspects of project management and contract negotiations.
