Givaudan seeks a Project Manager Operations for a temporary onsite role in Dübendorf to lead cross-functional projects improving product delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.

This temporary position, reporting directly to the Head of Operations, focuses on driving impactful initiatives across Operations and related functions. The primary objective is to enhance end-to-end product delivery while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, cost controls, and project timelines from initial feasibility through to final execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations projects of diverse complexity, guiding them from feasibility and concept phases through to execution.
  • Establish clear project scopes, including cost estimates, schedules, milestones, and detailed implementation plans.
  • Direct cross-functional teams by setting objectives, distributing work packages, and facilitating steering or stakeholder meetings to document outcomes.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, budget, time, and quality targets by actively tracking deadlines, costs, and resource allocation.
  • Apply Givaudan’s six-sigma methodology and PGP/project gate process, maintaining accurate records within the PPM tool.
  • Organize workshops, record minutes, and monitor the completion of follow-up actions.
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates on project status, requirements, and benefits.
  • Contribute to annual HR processes by offering performance feedback for team members and supporting the development of project management talent within Operations.

Requirements

  • University degree in Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Four to six years of professional experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • Possession of a recognized Project Management certification.
  • Working knowledge of TPM, KPIs, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing principles, and project controlling tools.
  • Strong expertise in financial concepts such as OPEX and CAPEX, along with proficiency in tools like SAP.
  • Business fluency in both German and English.
