React Native Developer (Wallet team) - 100% remote

Tether is hiring a mid-level React Native Developer for its Wallet team to build secure, high-performance mobile applications for crypto wallets and DeFi features. The role is 100% remote and requires experience with React, React Native, JavaScript, and mobile development tools.

This position involves developing cutting-edge mobile applications for crypto wallets and DeFi features within a dynamic, cross-functional team. The goal is to create lightweight, high-performance, and intuitive apps for diverse users, collaborating with senior backend developers, product managers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native, working with UI/UX designers to ensure visual appeal and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Integrate JavaScript SDKs, libraries, and backend services into mobile apps by collaborating with backend developers.
  • Work with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver innovative mobile wallet solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with React, React Native (especially with Expo), Redux, and related core principles.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end development tools and workflows.
  • Experience with Native modules (C++), WebSockets, and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android for low-level implementation.
