Swissquote seeks a Regulatory Reporting Specialist in Gland to manage SNB and FINMA submissions, optimize processes, and ensure data accuracy within the Finance team.
This position supports the Finance team by establishing robust and scalable regulatory reporting workflows that facilitate the organization's ongoing growth. The specialist is responsible for delivering precise, prompt, and compliant reports to the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), ensuring the Group adheres to all statutory obligations.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead regulatory reporting projects, focusing on streamlining workflows, automating tasks, and creating a unified database for regulatory data.
- Oversee the rollout of a new regulatory reporting platform across the entire organization.
- Partner with IT, Controlling & Risk, and ALM & Treasury departments to guarantee smooth system integration and maintain high data quality standards.
- Track changes in regulations and adjust reporting procedures to meet new statutory requirements and reporting mandates.
- Draft, verify, and file regulatory reports for both the individual Bank entity and the wider Group, including SNB statistical data and FINMA submissions.
- Conduct rigorous data quality assessments and controls to ensure all regulatory filings are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Serve as the main liaison for SNB inquiries and coordinate the Group’s audit activities with the central bank.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of the Swiss banking regulatory landscape.
- Three to five years of professional experience in a comparable regulatory reporting role.
- Full professional proficiency in both French and English, including written and spoken communication.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting software such as FiRE, Mercury, or similar tools.
Nice to have
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with T24, SQL, and Python is considered a plus.
