Hexagon Robotics seeks a mid-level Robot Operator in Zürich to build training datasets via teleoperation and evaluate robotic skills for industrial humanoid robots.
This position supports Hexagon Robotics in advancing humanoid robots for industrial use. The role focuses on applying robotic automation and embodied AI to real customer scenarios, providing hands-on experience with advanced systems while helping to bridge the gap between automation and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine high-quality datasets for robot training by performing teleoperation tasks.
- Test and assess the performance of learned robotic skills under diverse real-world conditions.
- Work closely with engineering and research teams to enhance methods for training, testing, and deploying robot policies.
- Develop and maintain best practices for operating robots, gathering data, and evaluating policy effectiveness.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or a completed vocational apprenticeship (such as Lehre, EFZ, or EBA) combined with relevant practical experience.
- Proven background in operating robots.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and personal motivation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team on rapid-paced projects.
- Solid skills in organization, documentation, and clear communication.
