cinfo, the Swiss competence centre for labour market issues in international cooperation, is looking for a Senior Advisor to strengthen competencies across individuals, teams, and organisations. This position drives the expansion of advisory services, helping entities integrate Locally Led Action (LLA) into their core strategies and operational methods.
Responsibilities
- Advance the strategic direction of cinfo's Career & Capacity Development thematic area and its associated service offerings.
- Create, conduct, and refine workshops, learning modules, and advisory formats tailored to individual, team, and organisational growth.
- Innovate service solutions that address the shifting demands of the international cooperation sector and its actors.
- Drive the strategic evolution of the Locally Led Action (LLA) focus area within cinfo.
- Design, test, and promote shared services that assist organisations in aligning their strategies, structures, and workflows with LLA principles.
- Provide advisory support and facilitate participatory workshops, dialogues, and learning sessions to guide organisations through LLA-related development and transformation.
- Track emerging trends in LLA and convert insights into practical products and innovative service offerings.
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships, advisory mandates, and projects while securing funding for emerging services.
Requirements
- Demonstrated operational experience in international cooperation, engaging diverse stakeholders across various roles, preferably with international work exposure.
- Proven ability to design and facilitate participatory workshops, learning processes, and dialogue formats.
- Strong grasp of current debates and developments in the international cooperation labour market, including locally led action, localisation, and Global South-North partnerships.
- Experience in strategically positioning new products or services and securing funding.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English, plus strong skills in French and/or German.
- A university degree.

- Prior experience working abroad.
- Background in organisational development, capacity building, leadership development, or change management.
- Proficiency in French or German, depending on the candidate's primary language.
