Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager – Treasury Technology

KPMG AG in Zürich seeks a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager for Treasury Technology to advise clients on system selection, implementation, and optimization within a hybrid work model.

The company is looking for a professional to join its expanding Corporate Advisory team. The role focuses on helping treasury departments modernize their operating models, processes, and system landscapes to adapt to a rapidly evolving digital business environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance to international clients regarding treasury technology, including system selection, target architecture, and emerging fintech solutions like AI, APIs, and stablecoins.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Kyriba Treasury Management System, leading the design, configuration, and implementation of modules such as Cash Management, Payments, and Risk.
• Optimize treasury processes related to cash and liquidity management, payments, risk management, and connectivity.
• Convert business needs into functional and technical solutions for Treasury Management Systems.
• Partner with IT, finance, and banking teams to guarantee smooth system integration.
• Assist with treasury transformation projects within larger finance or ERP initiatives, including project management and implementation support.
• Participate in client workshops, proposal development, and thought leadership activities in the Treasury Technology space.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Three to five years of professional experience in finance, treasury, banking, or consulting.
• Proven hands-on expertise with the Kyriba Treasury Management System, along with familiarity with other TMS platforms such as FIS Integrity, FIS Quantum, or Diapason.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities to effectively bridge business and technology.
• Structured, reliable, and proactive work style with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to professional development and certifications.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland and willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of data tools such as PowerBI, SQL, or Python.
• Proficiency in German or French.
