Senior DevOps Engineer – GenAI Voice Solutions (A)

Bosshard & Partner AG seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Zürich to architect GenAI voice solutions. The role requires strong DevOps, cloud, and AI integration skills with fluent German and English.

The company is looking for a senior professional to define and build the architecture for modern voice capabilities within a Generative AI platform. This position plays a central part in creating scalable integration structures while collaborating closely with business units, architecture teams, and DevOps groups to deliver innovative AI solutions for the banking sector.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solution architectures to connect the Genesys telephony system with the GenAI platform.
• Build and integrate voice features, covering data ingestion, model training, and the deployment of APIs and endpoints.
• Create technical standards and architecture blueprints that align with company-wide policies and regulatory needs.
• Guarantee smooth integration of applications, platforms, and databases such as Amazon RDS and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advise business units by translating their requirements into technical solution designs.
• Research and assess new technologies, frameworks, and tools related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Assist in embedding modern AI solutions into current cloud and on-premises system environments.
• Collaborate closely with Business Engineering, Solution Architecture, IT Security, and other technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Approximately 5–8 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Solution Engineer, or in a similar capacity.
• Strong background in system design and modern integration patterns, including Microservices, Event-driven Architectures, and APIs.
• Extensive knowledge of integrating Genesys, AWS, Azure, and on-premises systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with additional familiarity in Azure being advantageous.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Practical experience with AI-based voice and audio processing, specifically Speech-to-Text (ASR/STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS).
• Experience integrating AI solutions into Azure cloud or legacy system landscapes.
• Fluent German language skills at a C2 level.
• Strong English language skills at a C1 level.
