Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer

Logitech seeks a Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer in Lausanne, CH, for a hybrid full-time role. The position involves designing intuitive hardware experiences, keyboard layouts, and platform guidelines, supporting Gaming and Personal Workspace categories.

This role is for a Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer within Logitech’s Global User Experience team, focusing on transforming complex technical systems into simple, elegant user experiences. It combines hardware UX design with keyboard layout development for Gaming and Personal Workspace products in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design complete product experiences for hardware, considering firmware and software integration
• Participate in platform-level UX topics including connectivity, device behaviors, and system interactions
• Convert technical constraints into clear, user-friendly experiences
• Develop information architecture and interaction models for complex systems
• Lead the design of keyboard layouts across multiple products, operating systems, and regions
• Produce detailed, production-ready layout files with precision
• Maintain consistency across languages, markets, and product lines
• Work closely with hardware, engineering, and localization teams to align on technical limits
• Update and maintain standards, guidelines, and assets for keyboard layouts
• Support the development of the Logitech Design System
• Create and document platform and product guidelines, such as Bluetooth Connectivity and Webcam standards
• Ensure design and engineering implementation stay aligned (design ↔ firmware engineering)

Requirements

• Proven experience designing complex consumer hardware products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating hardware design solutions, including consumer electronics, mobile, or ergonomic products
• Ability to turn product work into reusable design guidelines
• Solid grasp of user-centered design principles and methods
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills with a focus on quality and detail
• Deep understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
• High attention to detail and capability to deliver production-ready assets
• Knowledge of localization challenges, typography, and spatial constraints
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator
• Experience using Figma
• Track record of collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Strong ability to tell stories and present design concepts clearly
