Senior Lead - Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

On Holding AG seeks a Senior Lead - Legal Counsel for Intellectual Property & Brand Protection in Zürich. The role involves managing complex IP matters, leading brand protection investigations, and developing enforcement strategies.

This position sits within the Intellectual Property Team at On Holding AG. The successful candidate will independently handle complex legal matters and proactively identify potential issues before they become significant problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to global and regional teams on intellectual property issues, including brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, and enforcement.
• Direct global investigations and actions related to brand protection and anti-counterfeiting.
• Create and execute enforcement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, build stakeholder relationships, conduct training sessions, and increase intellectual property awareness.
• Develop scalable processes, playbooks, and guidelines.
• Assist with strategic intellectual property projects.

Requirements

• Law degree.
• 7+ years of legal experience, including in-house experience.
• Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Excellent negotiation, communication (Fluent English) and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.
• Collaborative style and strong relationship-building skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Process-minded and curious, with a track record of improving how legal work gets done.
• Comfortable operating independently, prioritizing effectively and working across unfamiliar legal or business issues.
