Senior Network Engineer (Enterprise Infrastructure) - GENEVA

Gramian is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a global investment organization in Geneva. The role focuses on designing and optimizing secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid environments.

This position supports a highly secure, international environment where reliability and operational excellence are critical. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of a global enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networks using Cisco and HPE solutions, alongside Fortinet security systems and Azure cloud networking.
• Drive the evolution of hybrid network architectures that integrate on-premises data centers with cloud environments.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of network infrastructure, including capacity planning, hardware upgrades, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other secure network services to ensure robust protection.
• Provide third-line technical support for complex networking incidents and outages.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to enhance network performance and security posture.
• Manage relationships with telecommunications providers and external technology partners.
• Ensure network monitoring, availability, and compliance with operational standards.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support business-critical systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Proven expertise with Cisco and/or HPE Aruba enterprise networking solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and network security technologies.
• Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure networking environments.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPNs, and network security.
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network infrastructures.
• Professional networking certification (CCNP, JNCIP, Aruba, or equivalent).
• Fluent French and English.

Nice to have

• Advanced networking certifications (CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent).
• Experience within financial services or highly regulated industries.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
