BKW Building Solutions AG seeks a Senior Originator for Benelux and France to develop client portfolios and negotiate energy solutions. This part-time role requires strong market expertise and a commercial mindset.
The company is looking for a professional to lead business development in the Benelux region. The position centers on creating and managing client relationships while structuring customized energy and risk management products.
Responsibilities
- Build and oversee a client base primarily within the Benelux area.
- Create and finalize bespoke energy and risk management deals, such as structured power and gas contracts, flexibility products, hedging strategies, and power purchase agreements.
- Spot fresh commercial opportunities and cultivate lasting business partnerships.
- Grow and sustain connections with utilities, suppliers, industrial firms, traders, and renewable energy developers.
- Track market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in Benelux energy sectors.
Requirements
- Possess five to seven or more years of experience in energy origination, trading, or structured energy products, backed by a solid history of commercial success.
- Have an established network and existing relationships within the Benelux energy sector.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of wholesale power and gas markets, structured financial products, and risk management techniques.
- Show an entrepreneurial attitude with the capacity to drive business growth autonomously.
- Exhibit excellent negotiation abilities, stakeholder management skills, and the capacity to collaborate across different functions.
- Communicate fluently in English.
Nice to have
- Understanding of the French energy market.
- Familiarity with EFET and ISDA standards.
- Proficiency in French or Dutch languages.
